Swirling Sunset

This scene is an adaptation of a February sunset at our home place.  The sky was ablaze as the setting sun caught the edges of pin-wheeling winter clouds, particularly in the south and southwest skies.  I was able to grab 25 or so photos in the few minutes of available vistas. Our sunsets, especially in fall and winter, can be breathtaking.  What a blessing!

This painting was juried into the 2020 Landscape Exhibit of the Art Center of Corpus Christi, where it sold.
